In St. Dominic's Parish, we strive to serve the community in the spirit of Dominic, which is one of freedom, innovation, adaptability and trust in one another.
With Christ as our model, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, we worship God in the variety of ways open to us.
As a Parish Community, we seek to:
- nourish a community spirit in the parish so that everyone feels at home
- maintain regular contact with everyone in the parish
- encourage all parishioners to play a part in reaching out to others in the community and beyond
- maintain the parish school, St. Dominic's, as central to the parish, and give due prominence to families and youth
- be actively involved in the ecumenical movement at the local level
