Each of the members of the PCT is nominated as a leader of one of the nine
zones. To ensure the personal distribution of Welcome Word, the leader
is assisted by a team of 4-6 co-ordinators in each zone, with each one
responsible for a team of messengers. The co-ordinator receives all
the Welcome Word copies from the zone leader five times a year and distributes
them to each of his/her messengers. The co-ordinators work closely
with their leaders, and offer support to the messengers in their important
task of maintaining contact with every member of the parish. Zone
co-ordinators also have an important role to play in keeping the parish
register up to date.
