On Thursday, the 24th of August- the Feast of St Bartholomew, apostle, 35 young parishioners celebrated their Confirmation at St Dominic’s.
The Confirmation Mass was presided over by Bishop Les Tomlinson (Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Sandhurst) with our parish priest, Fr Paul Rowse, OP.
22 St Dominic’s School students were joined by 13 young parishioners from other schools, along with their sponsors, family, and teachers as they completed the Sacraments of Christian Initiation.
The parish wish to thank St Dominic’s School community with the leadership of Mrs Natalie Kenny (Principal), Mrs Sarah Perronnet, and other teachers for their support in preparing the students and their families to celebrate the presence of the Holy Spirit in a special way.
St Dominic’s congratulates all Confirmands and prays that their hearts remain forever open to the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
